Why I invest every day, and Why you should too.
Nowadays I don’t go to bed without investing at least 1$.

I even sold a pair of shoes keep investing and not lose the streak.
For the past years, I have fallen in love with investing but I was always eager to pull the trigger. My biggest excuses and obstacles were that as I was struggling to survive with my job (sometimes even unemployed) there were no leftovers on the 15th and the 30th to invest.
I would come with great plans on how I was going to invest 10% of my paycheck, to finally realize that there was no 10% left after paying all the bills.
After I started making more money, I again tried the same plan. Wait for my paycheck and then invest 10% but again that 10% was so small that I wasn’t even happy with it and would prefer not to invest it.
After going back and forth with that issue I realize that I needed to come with a plan where there was no friction to invest, a setup where I could invest quickly and not let my brain stop me.
That’s where I thought of investing every day. Like trying to get better 1% at a time.
Investing every day is something that I have been doing where I do not go to sleep without investing money, even if it is 1$.
Save some, invest some.
The goal is to go to bed knowing that I have covered the ‘save some’ and ‘invest some’ part.
I would transfer a minimum of 1$ from my checking account to my emergency fund, which would cover the ‘save some’.
After that, I would transfer some $ to one of the investments vehicles I am using;

Stocks
I use Interactive brokers as my stockbroker. But, because I live outside of the US and international Wires can get crazy expensive. Transfering 10$ makes no sense when you get charge 55$ per international wire. That’s why I use Wise (Also known as TransferWise, Xoom is another great option, but it’s not available in my country).
If that day I choose stocks as my investments, I would add cash to my Wise account and then later transfer it to my interactive brokers.
Emergency Fund
This is my cash reserve, where the rule is to save at least 1$ per day. That money comes from my checking account.
Crypto
Binance - This is what I use to purchase my cryptos and then I transfer them to my YouHodler or Celsius Account, depending on which one is offering better rates.
YouHodler - I use it to stake USDT at a 12.3% APY and some other small cryptos.
Celsius - I use it to stake ETH at a 5.35% APY and BTC at a 6.20% APY. I have chosen to separate my staking accounts also because it mitigates the risk in case of hacking.
How is this helping me?
1- Makes me think about investing and saving money every day.
2- Investing $200–$300 every month can feel like a huge cut from my paycheck, but when I split it into 30 days it's easier to handle.
3- Makes me be creative, when I see I am running out of cash I start thinking about what I can do to get that daily investing money before it’s too late.
I even sold one pair of shoes I wasn’t using just because I didn't want to lose the streak.
4- Most importantly I go to bed feeling good about myself, investing and saving every day makes me feel every day I am closer to my goal.
Investing $5-$10 every day might look small but when you do it for over a year that gives you $3,650 invested and saved.
How many of you invested that amount last year?
We got so caught up into thinking that we need money to invest that you forgot that the key to sucess is consistency.

As you can see, for the past 12 days I have invested/saved $124.00, with a daily average of $5.
