These 5 Mindsets Will Permanently Limit Your Ability To Amass Wealth

Some people believe that people with money are evil and gain it illegally, or by taking advantage of others.

Some people don't care about money.

Some people claim they hate money with passion.

Some people only hoard their money and never share it with others.

1. The Blaming Person: "Rich People Are Evil"

A lady told me that if you earn a million dollars, there is no way you did it legally.

She believes that the only way for someone to obtain a million dollars is by exploiting others. 

Her logic baffled me because there are many ways to save, invest, and earn a million dollars and beyond.

Plenty of people share a similar theory.

These types of people will never build wealth. Their mindsets will always limit their income.

She is still earning around 30k per year, not because of a lack of talent or potential (which she has ginormous amounts of) but because of her mindset.

2. The Nonchalant (Lazy) Person: "I Don't Care About Money"

Then you have some people who claim they don't care about money. Some of these people are honest, but many are utilizing it as an excuse or front to perpetuate their broke financial situations and broke mindsets.

The same person who says they don't care about money doesn't have an emergency fund, retirement savings, or consistent income. They also don't invest their money.

Furthermore, they don't take the time to educate themselves about personal finance.

It's nice not to care about money when you have it, when you're not broke, and when you're on track financially for retirement or future years.

But if you don't care about money and are financially struggling, stop lying to yourself.

You do care about money but don't want to invest the time and energy required to change your financial situation.

3. The Negative Person: "I Hate Money"

The third person is the money hater.

These people strongly dislike rich people and people who have means.

They believe that all money is bad and the people who have it are bad.

They are also frequently financially dependent on others or programs to help fund their lives.

These types of people seek free handouts wherever they can get them.

They don't mind putting their financial destiny into others' hands.

4. The Greedy Person: "There Are Not Enough Resources"

The fourth person is the greedy person.

These people hoard money and never share it with others.

They don't believe there is enough to go around and live a fear-based life, so they will never experience wealth and genuine abundance.

Lack is constantly on their mind. They believe they will run out of money and resources if they give and share with others.

If you want to build wealth and experience an enriching lifestyle, you must shift your mindset about money.

The sooner you learn that wealth comes through serving others meaningfully (generosity), the sooner you can experience real wealth.

5. The Entitled Person: “I Deserve More Without Changing Anything”

The fifth person believes the world owes them a better financial outcome simply because they’re smart, hardworking, or unlucky.

They resent people who earn more while refusing to adjust their habits, skills, or behaviors.

Entitlement replaces accountability.

Instead of asking, “What do I need to learn or change?” they ask, “Why hasn’t this worked out for me yet?”

Wealth doesn’t respond to entitlement.

It responds to responsibility, adaptability, and execution.
