Introduction

Every trader in the Indian stock market dreams of finding a perfect buy-sell indicator. It is a tool to make consistent profit and easy trades. I too dream of having a perfect buy-sell indicator.

After spending years finding the right tips and backtesting complex market strategies and trying one indicator after another, I decided to remove all clutter and run an experiment.

For 3 months I tested the most popular buy/sell indicators in the market across Nifty 50, Bank Nifty, famous stocks like HDFC Bank and Reliance, and commodities like silver and gold.

In my experiment there was no cherry-picking , no paper trading. All my decisions, entries, and exits were live.

And the results were incredible, absolutely different from what YouTube and Telegram experts suggest to you.

How I Set Up the Test

Before I show you the results, allow me to introduce you to the rules I followed:

Platforms: Zerodha Kite, Telegram (StockYaari channel) and TradingView.

Instruments: TCS, Reliance, Gold, Silver, Nifty 50, Fin Nifty Options, Bank Nifty, etc.

Trades Type: It was a mix of intraday and short-term positional. Intraday trading was the major focus, while short-term positional trades were held for 2-3 days.

Risk management: I restricted it to 1 to 2 per cent capital risk per trade. and no overleveraging.

Timing: My timing was 9.15 AM to 15.15 PM IST for Indian stock markets.

The 7 'Most Accurate' Buy Sell Indicators I Chose

What finally made the cut is as follows:

1. Supertrend (Custom Settings)

Among Indian intraday traders, one of the easiest yet well-liked indicators.

2. RSI Filter with MACD Crossover

A frequent combination for positional trades in Nifty 50 equities.

3. Telegram Channel for Stock Yaari Premium

Notifications of real-time Green Signal and Red Alert depending on SEBI-registered strategies.

4. Support/Resistance Zones + VWAP

Bank Nifty scalpers love it.

5. Price Action + CPR (Central Pivot Range)

A favourite among options traders for Bank Nifty and Fin Nifty.

6. 9 EMA and 21 EMA Cross over

A traditional moving average technique for trending markets.

7. Tweakable Ichimoku Cloud

For swing trading equities such Reliance, Infosys, and Tata Motors.

Though actual outcomes? Things became fascinating there.

Here’s How Each Indicator Performed (with Real Numbers)

Supertrend (Custom Configurations)

Win Rate: 65 percent

Best Use: 15-minute intraday Bank Nifty charts.

Pros: Fast entries and exits, quite beginner-friendly.

Disadvantages: Whipsaws in lateral markets.

My Note: Safe for trends but risky when the market was flat.

2. RSI Filter with MACD Crossover

Win Rate: 68 percent

Best Use: Swing trades on Nifty 50 shares.

Advantages: Good when markets were moving.

Disadvantages: Occasionally late entries destroyed the prize.

My Note: Great for patient gamers; bad for scalpers.

3. Support/Resistance Zones + VWAP

Win Rate: 72 percent

Best Use: Intraday fluctuations in Bank Nifty and Fin Nifty.

Advantages: Excellent for scalping.

Drawbacks: Required manual verification using candlestick patterns.

My Note: Surprisingly strong when coupled with prior day high/lows.

4. Price Action + CPR (Central Pivot Range)

Win Rate: 70 percent.

Best Use: Especially after 10 AM, nifty futures.

Advantages: Great for breakout and range-bound trades.

Drawbacks: On very volatile days, false signals.

My Note: If you are disciplined, pure price action magic.

5. Stock Yaari Premium Telegram Channel

Win Rate: 78 percent

Best Use: Intraday + BTST Bank Nifty and Nifty 50 Option Trades.

Pros:

  • Instant notifications (no screen staring required).
  • Clear SL (Stop Loss) and Target stated.
  • SEBI-registered; no false hype.
  • Disadvantages:

  • Quick action required; 1-2 minute delay could damage entrance.

My Notes:

  • Of the few services, mine was one where signals seemed "professional"—clean, sharp, and drama-free.
  • Perfect for busy professionals and office-going traders.

6. Crossover of 9 EMA and 21 EMA

Win Rate: 63 percent

Best Use: Stocks like HDFC Bank, Bajaj Finance that are trending.

Pros: Simple verification, highly visual.

Drawbacks: Misses quick reversals, slow-moving.

My Note: After significant news events or gap-up openings, it performs best.

7. Ichimoku Cloud with Adjustments

Win Rate: 70 percent.

Best Use: Positional trading in Reliance, Infosys, and ICICI Bank is the best use.

Advantages: Excellent for swing trading with distinct cloud-based entries.

Drawbacks: Too complicated for players who play intraday.

My Notes: It's a powerful tool once you figure it out, but it's unquestionably a "second-level trader" tool.

3 Big Lessons I Learned About Indian Markets

1. Bank Nifty is unreliable:

Even the best indicators fail without correct stop-loss placement.

2. Accuracy is not that important:

Risk-reward ratio (1:2 minimum) is far better than just high hit rates.

3. Telegram is best if you choose wisely:

I tried many channels and found Stock Yaari Premium. It offers clean, reliable, actionable signals with real compliance backing.

My top three conclusions after 90 days:

🥇Stock Yaari Premium Telegram Alerts — it is the best alternative for busy traders and Bank Nifty.

🥈VWAP + Support Zones — This option is best for scalping for Fin Nifty and Bank Nifty.

🥉CPR + Price Action — A Good Alternative for Nifty Futures Slow-Burn Moves.

Is it wise to trust any ‘Most Accurate’ Indicator blindly?

No, and the reasons are as follows:

Markets are volatile and unpredictable. Factors like new RBI guidelines, global Fed decisions, political elections, wars, etc., can affect the market.

Indicators can give you a frame of reference, but you still need to be disciplined, flexible, and manage the risk factor.

You must verify the signals with context. Remember that every trade is a probabilistic game,me, and winning is not certain.

My Go-to Setup Now

I rely on the following:

✅For Directional Bias — Stock Yaari Premium

✅For Entry-Exit Refinement — VWAP

✅Risk Reward – Strict 1:2

I use this combination for stress-free trading and consistency. It helps me a lot in the unpredictable Indian market.

Conclusion:

The dream of discovering the "Most Accurate Buy Sell Indicator" is alluring. But after 90 days of actual testing, I can tell you: It's not about finding the perfect signal.

It's about applying the correct attitude to good signals.

Start simple, be consistent, and choose tools that fit your personality if you are serious about trading Nifty, Bank Nifty, or stocks.
