The ad looks really good.

The pictures of the trades look amazing.

The lifestyle they show looks too good to be true.

They say things like "Join my group" and "Copy my trades" and "Make money all the time".

It sounds like they have found a way to make trading easy.

But there is something that people who are new to trading usually figure out late:

The real way to get good at trading is not by paying for a service.

It is by learning and being disciplined.

The best part is that most of this learning is free.

Day trading can be exciting.

Things happen fast in the markets.

When you win it feels great.

The idea of making money from your computer is really appealing.

So when someone shows you a system that looks good and promises to give you trading ideas every day it seems like an idea.

Why try to figure things out on your own when you can just follow someone who knows what they are doing?

Trading is not just about copying what someone else does.

It is about understanding what is going on.

If you follow someones trades without knowing why they are making those trades you are not really learning.

You are just using someone Ideas.

When you use someone elses ideas you do not really feel confident.

You are just hoping that they know what they are doing.

The truth about paying for trading services is that if someone really had a system they would probably be using it to make money for themselves.

They would not be selling it to others for a fee.

Getting paid every month is a thing.

Making money from trading is not.

That does not mean that everyone who sells trading services is bad.

Some people really do want to help.

A lot of the time these services are more about making money from people who want to trade than about actually helping them become good traders.

You will see pictures of trades that made money.

You will not usually see all of the trades or how well the system has worked over a long time.

The market does not care about how good someones marketing's

It only cares about how good you're at trading.

What really makes someone a good trader is not about using tools.

It is about learning the basics:

* Managing risk

* Deciding how much to trade

* Controlling your emotions

* Being consistent

* Being patient

And the best part is that you can learn all of this without spending a lot of money.

There are thousands of videos and analyses online that can help you learn.

You can study how charts work.

You can learn about what makes the market move.

You can practice trading without using money.

That is how you become a trader.

Imagine two people who want to trade.

One person pays for a service that gives them trading ideas.

They follow the ideas for a months.

Some trades make money. Some do not.

When the service stops they do not know what to do.

The other person spends a months learning about trading for free.

They practice trading without using money.

They make mistakes. They learn from them.

They slowly become a trader.

One person is dependent on someone

The other person is independent.

When you have skills you can use them to make money for a time.

When you are dependent on someone you will struggle when they are not there to help you.

Learning for free can be better than paying for a service.

When you learn for free you have to think for yourself.

You have to try things and see what works.

You become a thinker.

Free resources do not give you all the answers.

They help you learn how to find the answers for yourself.

That is really valuable in the market because things are always changing.

If you pay for a service every month that money could be used for something

You could use it to trade with.

You could use it to invest.

You could save it in case you need it.

Of paying for a service use that money to learn.

There is no tool that will make you a great trader.

The important thing is to be strong and patient.

You have to be able to stick to your plan.

You have to be able to handle losing trades.

You have to be able to wait for the moment to trade.

No one can teach you those things.

You have to learn them for yourself.

This is not about saying that people who pay for services are wrong.

It is about reminding you that you are capable of learning and becoming a trader.

You do not need to pay for a service to start learning.

You do not need someone to tell you what to do.

You just need to want to learn.

You need to be consistent.

You need to be patient.

All of those things are free.

The best trader you can be is one who can make their decisions.

When you make a trade because you understand what is going on and you can manage it with confidence that feels great.

It is not just because someone else told you to do it.

It is because you know what you are doing.

That is something that you cannot buy.

It is something that you have to earn.

So before you pay for a trading service. Think.

Are you buying knowledge. Are you just buying hope?

Because hope does not last.

Skills that you learn will stay with you for the rest of your life.

And the journey, to becoming a trader starts with your decision to learn.
