Sneaker Reselling

Part 1

By sidehustlecentralPublished 4 years ago 3 min read

In my last blog we talked about the fundamentals of how to “flip” sneakers for profit. In this blog, we will talk about the next steps in sneaker reselling.

How to maximize your chances

The best way to maximize your chances of winning a pair of sneakers is through multiple accounts. Try to make as many accounts on unique devices as you can. Remember, you need to use different credit card information and you should “jig” every entered address. For Example: 3 North field Court can be jigged into “3 N. Field Court” or “3 Nor. Field Ct.” If you do this, Nike will not know that you have entered on more than one account. Also, do not use Wifi on more than one device when entering the same location.

Adidas Confirmed App

Adidas Confirmed functions very similarly to Nike besides the fact that there is a longer raffle entry time and a longer raffle in general. Usually there is a few day period in which you can enter a raffle, and Adidas will notify you if you have won after the raffle has ended. Just make sure to check in the Adidas Confirmed app every few days for upcoming sneakers.

Footlocker, Finishline Reservations

Normally Finishline, Footlocker, and several other apps hold raffles to reserve a pair of sneakers in your nearby Footlocker and Finishline locations. However, these apps tend to favor people who have lots of points (i.e. they purchased many items in that store.) So in most situations, people who have spent $800 in Footlocker will be more successful than someone who has spent $100 in Footlocker. Although it is always worth trying to enter these raffles.

Sneaker Bots

A sneaker bot is a piece of software that allows you to acquire sneakers with a higher success rate than if you were to be entering raffles on your own device. However, the average sneaker reseller would not use sneaker bots. They are often quite expensive, and risky. They are also time consuming to use and learn how to use. However, if you are willing to commit to learning how to use sneaker bots, and the high costs that come with them, you should see a much higher increase in profit than if you were to just get sneakers manually.

Proxies

Proxies are something you need to purchase additionally to your sneaker bots. They mask your location from companies so that companies cannot flag you as suspicious (this can prevent you from purchasing sneakers or companies will cancel your orders.) Proxies are not cheap, which is another risk you will take if you choose to rent or purchase sneaker bots. I will not get into proxies as much in this blog because they are slightly complex, and my blog is targeted to the general audience who is looking to make extra money.

ACO

ACO (Auto Checkout) is a service provided by the majority of cook groups that allow you to use other members of the cook group who use bots and they will run their bot for you. It is a great alternative to people who do not want to use a bot. If they manage to get a pair under your information, you will charge them an ACO fee as they request. It is your duty to make sure the fee you pay them is reasonable, and they are a trusted person. To make sure to not get scammed, you should make sure that they have verifiable refs (references) in their twitter. References are normally other people who have used them as an ACO and there should be a post dedicated to references in their twitter. If you are a dealing with a person, make sure to ask them for references. You should also use a VCC (virtual credit card.) These can be made on either “privacy.com”,Capital One, and many other services. As for the fee, you should calculate how much the profit would be normally for the sneaker without the ACO fee. (Estimated market value-shoe price+tax.) Then subtract the ACO fee, and you have your estimated profit after the ACO fee.
