This is no joke, Nigerian celebrities are amazing fashion stars.

This is a new column I'll be doing here on my page and here are some of the top celebrity fashion moments from this week.
Let's call this vol. 1, as we enter a new week. The highlight of this week's fashion and style was Mercy Chinwo's wedding outfit and Beverly Naya's black dress.
Chioma Goodhair kicked off fashion week in a silk Bubu dress, then Mercy Chinwo took over in a stunning white wedding gown. Actress Adunni Ade Dazzles donned a blue outfit at the launch party she attended, and Toke Makinwa wore a floral dress. With her stunning black ensemble, Beverly Naya broke the fashion rule about wearing all black, and Funke Akindele looks stunning in a lace dress.
In a blue suit, Lala Akindoju looks gorgeous. Tonto Dikeh took the fashion reins with a chic Ankara skirt and shirt, while actress Lilly Afegbai provides lovely clothing inspiration. In a green bodycon dress, Diane exudes beauty, and Nengi demonstrated how to wear camouflage pants with style. In a Versace two-piece ensemble, Nancy Isime offers glitz while Alex Unusual redefines Ankara fashion.

Let's learn about Fashion in Nigeria a little bit;
Nigeria's fashion industry both plays a big cultural role and considerably boosts the nation's economy. Although formal and traditional styles are also worn, casual wear is most frequently seen. There are many different hues, materials, and embellishments used in clothing (often beads).
Many of Nigeria's constituent cultures dress in ways that are specific to their tribal societies and traditions. Nigeria is renowned for its stylish fabrics and clothing, but it is also home to some of the world's most well-known fashion designers.
Nigerians typically wear casual clothing because of the country's warm climate. There is always traditional or formal clothing, albeit it depends on the situation. The non-exhaustive list that follows includes a few of the traditional clothes that particular Nigerian ethnic groups frequently wear.

Gele is typically a headdress that is wrapped or worn. A gele can be thought of as a scarf worn on the head as a fashionable decoration worn on a regular basis as well as for special occasions like weddings and church functions. Gele is comprised of solid substances.
Veiling is a custom that is practiced in Nigeria and involves covering specific body parts from head to toe with a piece of clothing. frequently refers to a group of social ties that are based on political, religious, or historical customs. Muslim women in Northern Nigeria have used a variety of veils, or head coverings, throughout the 20th century.
Veils can be compared to the hijab or gele, which are types of head coverings that conceal the entire head and body while exposing the face. The practice of donning veils became widespread. At that time, the urge to seem stylish emerged.
One of the biggest ethnic groupings in Africa is the Igbo. Isiagu tops with lion heads embroidered on them are a part of the traditional apparel of the Igbo men. The Isiagu top is typically worn with striped caps and pants. The Isiagu, also known as Chieftaincy, is a pullover shirt worn by the Igbo people of Africa that is comparable to the dashiki.
