Vanilla is one of the best scent used in perfumes , almost every year each brand drops a new perfume that has vanilla it , it it’s so rich and seductive, and almost everyone loves it . It can be used differently and lots of brand experience with it and come up with something new so it’s always existing to smell it .

Here are 5 perfumes you should try if love vanilla :

1. Orchidee Vanille , by Van Cleef & Arpels

Orchidee Vanille Van Cleef & Arpels , is one of the best vanilla perfume out there , the mixture of dark chocolate , almond , mandarin orange, Bulgarian rose and with 2 types of vanilla used in this perfume , it will smell like a comforting, inviting vanilla , the orange and the rose will give it a fruity and a bit or a rose scent that will complement and shine the vanilla even more , and the dark chocolate will add a bit of a gourmand touch to the perfume , but don’t worry it’s not sticky smelling like some other gourmand perfumes . The down side of this perfume is the performance, honestly it’s not the best ( 4 _ 6 hours max ) and sillge is moderate, it’s an amazing perfume for people who don’t want their scent to be overpowering or if your partner don’t like strong scents .

2. By the Fireplace Maison Martin Margiela

This is is for the people who don’t like sweet or gourmand scents , By the Fireplace Is a basically vanilla mixed with lots of woods giving the scent the feel as if you were roasting marshmallows next to a fired woods , it’s so Cousy , inviting and rich but without being very sweet . The down side of this perfume is that it’s not the most versatile, you can only were it in the winter cold days because the woods in it won’t work in summer .

3. Ani by Nishane :

Remember when I wrote about how brands use vanilla differently , Ani by Nishane is a great example , the mixture of vanilla with ginger , bergamot , patchouli and ambergris makes this scent the perfect mix of vanilla and sweetness yet fresh , fruity and summery , it’s so complicated but very well put together and it’s just works perfectly. So if you are looking for a vanilla scent that is out of the box and new , you should try Ani by Nishane .

4. Noir Extreme by Tom Ford :

Who said a man or a women with a work suit or in a professional dinner cant wear vanilla perfumes , they definitely didn’t smell Noir Extreme . Noir Extreme by Tom Ford it the perfect mixture of spice’s mixed with vanilla . The cardamom, saffron , rose , vanilla , sandalwood and the surprisingly kulfi note which an Indian dessert mixture gives this scent the perfect combination of vanilla , sweet and spicy , it’s almost gourmand but it ver unique attractive mature and well put together . It’s amazing for almost every occasion and can be worn all year around but don’t wear it in the summer days leave it for the nights . The down side of this perfume unfortunately is the longevity ( 4 – 7 hours ) so you will need to reapply during the day if you want the scent to stay all day .

5. Layton by Parfums de Marly :

If you are looking for an everyday Al year around day and night vanilla perfume with an amazing longevity and sillage look no further Layton by Parfums de Marly is the perfect choice . The vanilla and the green apple are the main notes in the fragrance giving you the freshness and the sweetness you need every day and with other notes like the sandalwood , cardamom and guaiac wood will be able to stay with you to the night for nights occasions.
