Because I’m always excited to see what color Pantone picks for the year, I was surprised by this shade being chosen. When the color was first announced, I shared this information with my Web Development team, and they are already working on changing my website. Keep checking out my Site for a new look coming soon.

Although many thought the color of the year was going to be teal, they were wrong. Pantone’s choice is off-white to symbolize simplicity in a hectic world. But, the question remains – did they choose the wrong color? At the same time, many critics have referred to this shade as insensitive. Hence, calling the color culturally insensitive and linking it to “whitewashing” and “dystopian” times.

Additionally, this color features shades of a neutral white with hints of gray.
