In the early 17th century, Croatians tied scarves over their neck to keep the opening of their shirt together. Since that time, the bow has evolved.

Bow ties were part of formal wear for men. In the 1900s, they became a staple in most fashionable men’s wardrobes.

At the same time, there are several keys to the bow trend.
