Belts in, Ready for Take-off
My multifaceted fashion item!
Granted, the early 2000s made some iffy trends out of the enormous belt movement, but i still love it even with the semi-awful and very hilarious trends because it rocks! This are moments I live for- Mixing my outfits and pairing it with a belt to make a new version. But the very honest truth, and ultimate power is: A belt can be paired with an outfit to make it more classy, and it might possibly accentuate my figure (which i live for and it makes me happy most times that I look good- little confidence boost).
On a more serious note, belts just adds a little touch to a classy (casual, sophistication. The list goes on..) outfit which completes and polishes a look that adds that zing. The addition of a belt can be the equivalent of adding a period to the end of a sentence, it just completes it. In addition, it could add shape, accent
uates a ladies feature if done right, plus I could get away with wearing a "man's belt" (I don't know the difference, I just grab what looks nice). Of course, like any other accessory, there are factors and elements that come into play to successfully pull off and integrate a belt into your look. It can be pull of any style (Is it a skirt? A gown? What! its not a one piece? The suspense! )
Personally, I don't understand the science behind short, medium and torso, all I know is that I love my belts in general and there is also the fact that there are different types of belts to add more beauty to an already gorgeous outfit, so by no means in a box- Plus the belt does not have to be a designer *gucci insert* to make you look good, though designers are good for their purposes.
To make it easier, below are my 3 go to belts, which could be further divided into different sessions.
Classy
Whatever color this is- Black, Brown, Gold- I would say it's a must have in my wardrobe. It is a versatile type of belt that could add a certain polish with a bit of more style to a denim- pants/ jeans in my case. Adding a bit of color will make it all better, as long as it co-ordinates with the overall outfit. If it's a dress up day, I love pairing this belts with a scarf, maybe a sunglass- with summer underway, the whole point is- there is no limit!

Skinny
A great accessory to spruce up dress/ classy/ office wears, or casual- but not my first pick. An advice for wearing this belt is styling in with more fitted skirts or gowns, rather than flowy or ruffled pieces. Overall, this piece adds more chic appeal for a date, office or just dressing up days.

Wide
One of my signature pieces/ May hold a soft spot for me, wide belts are definitely belts that makes a statement A wide belt is perfect for creating an amazing shape, hourglass, pearshape, whatever the case- it works wonders for most waistlines.
Investing in a neutral wide belt that can style different clothing style options and its all set. The best part is- it comes in different colors, so not stuck to one piece; though black works with almost anything.

There are definitely lots to love about belts for me, and the good outweighs the bad. Overall, belts are wonderful accesories to go with outfits and on that note, I would love to leave some helpful tips if you decide to try belts!
If you decide to get belts, storage and cleanup is necessaty. A little bit of care goes a long way in making them last, plus- buy only what is needed, to save money, reduce waste and make the storage units happy.
Fashion is a form of expression, a little color never hurts!
Rock your belts and fashion combination and stay safe!!
