What one might think if he thinks of the word UGLY? It might seem like something or someone is mocked. But is it really a bad word?

Let me explain it to you. Someone has called the other ugly, right in front of us. What will we think? We must think the word intends harm to the VICTIM. But is there a victim? was it even harm? Or it only intended self reflection.

When one thinks of ugly, maybe the face is ugly. Can the soul be ugly? or the essence of a being be ugly? If yes! was it really harm? or was it a signal from the universe to self reflection.

Who knows. Depends on what the witness perceives. The witness is you. What do you think when you see someone being called ugly. A bad word right?

Let me tell you about the soul that is ugly. An ugly soul, an ugly essence. It is not the appearance it is the inside.

This toxic essence might exist in the most beautiful forms or phenotypes.

Think about a Venus fly trap. It releases sweet smelling pheromones' to attract it prey. When the prey is fully invested into the trap, it tightens its claws onto the fly. Releases its digestive juices and sucks its innocent essence into his being.

A Venus fly trap. Its vibrant colors and attractive pheromones' lures its prey into the claws.

It survives on innocence and deception, its ugly; but it is the truth of that being. Who is to be blamed for its ugliness. Can you guess?

Its SURROUNDINGS. Yes its surroundings are the culprit. How did this simple plant develop such an ugly essence on such a lovely phenotype?

The answer is; It acquires something from the essence of its victim; that is absent in the surroundings. Its innocence.

The surroundings are not innocent to this plant. The soil is unforgiveable. So it acquires its necessary innocence from the innocent to survive.

A Venus flower trap lives in an an environment where soil is devoid of nutrients and nourishment for its survival. The best way it can survive is by showing its UGLY essence to the nature by disguising under a beautiful face.

So what do you think when someone is called ugly. Was the appearance ugly, or was it that was the inside that's ugly? How did the surroundings flourish that ugly?

The soil must be devoid of some essential nutrients and now The growth must continue from the prey.

But here is the catch. You must be wondering by now I am tallking about a certain class of people in our lives. These people can come across highly manupulative and judgmental towards us. They induce toxic scenarios in our lives and thrive on our negative responses.

So much so that it seems like they will not survive without witnessing our misery. They suck on it to live and get self validation from it.

When we are away; their life is a mess. But when we are closer; Our lives are a mess. SO, who is to blame? and what is the solution?

The solution is the surroundings. We can never grow in the same surroundings as they have. Because they are missing what is essential to thrive. Identify these surroundings and get the hell out, before your essence is eaten away and you have nothing left to offer.

Writer's note: This article is written in perspective of the toxic people in our society or the ones who are surrounding us and we cannot do anything about them. They trap us in their beautiful ways and eat away our innocent essence; slowly but painfully day by day. We know that they thrive on us for what had been missing in their lives in the past. But we cannot do anything about it because we are trapped. Our innocent essence is eaten away and we have not enough to offer anymore. We stay in the claws.
