《The symbolism of six koi - Six Koi bring surprises》, painted by Dawnxisoul393

First part:

We are plagued by six major problems

In Asia, the number 6 stands for "everything goes well". The six koi come to us with the good wishes of "everything goes well" to remind us that miracles can happen in our lives. Take a deep breath and have a look at them. They invite us to slow down, relax and wait for us to take action with their blessing. They are ready to support us. Sometimes we may experience a difficult period, or face a difficult living and working environment, and even we may feel that the whole world seems to have completely collapsed. But please believe that it is in this uncertain environment that we can find magical things, just like a child opening a birthday box. Life is full of surprises. When we have faith in our hearts, miracles will appear. We don't have to look everywhere for solutions. As long as we have firm faith, we can solve most of the difficulties by ourselves.

Six Koi swim happily in the water, their beautiful bodies dance in the happy water, and their scales shine in the golden, red, and white light. These six relaxed and happy Koi gently tell us that what we need to do now is to empty our thoughts, find a quiet moment, practice meditation as a daily habit, and treat ourselves as lucky people. Be happy and grateful, because real happiness and gratitude can open the door to luck. If we are optimistic about all difficulties and hardships, we will struggle, have hope, and be connected with all good things. The number 6 looks like a pregnant woman with a big belly. It looks very maternal, so the number 6 represents maternal love. With a strong desire for love and tolerance, we can face all difficulties without depression and all diseases without giving up the hope of recovery.

Because the number 6 is the sum of the first three numbers (1, 2, and 3), it means releasing our energy in harmony and equality. In a harmonious environment, we can carry out physical and mental self-treatment. In life, each of us has a wish, that is to have a healthy body. When it comes to health, many people think that the body is healthy without pain. In fact, it is not. Real health is the health of the unity of body and mind. The latest medical research shows that there is still a transition period between human health and disease, that is, the third state, the sub-health state. Physical health, but mental problems, is not real health. In modern society, people are facing more and more pressure on life and survival, interpersonal relationships are more and more complex, and modern people's heart is more and more impetuous. In this case, each of us has more or less psychological problems, and mankind has entered the era of emotional load.

"When we wait in line to shop, we may get upset if we wait a slightly longer time", illustrated by dawnxisoul393

As people's psychological sub-healthy state is not corrected and channeled in time, people have various undesirable behaviors. We live in an era where there is a wide range of goods and services. If we don't want to cook, we can order take-out, if we don't want to do housework, we can call a bellhop, if we don't want to drive, we can find a person to drive for us. Many of the things that make us comfortable in life are readily available, yet while we seem to be much more comfortable than we used to be, our tolerance for dealing with adversity and frustration has diminished. We can easily lose our patience and lose our temper over a small thing. When we wait in line to shop, we may get upset if we wait a slightly longer time. Sometimes, when we are riding our bicycles in a disciplined and orderly manner in the bike lane, and suddenly an unruly person jumps the lane to overtake us and almost hits us, we may immediately want to go after and scold that person.

As science and technology become more advanced and our standard of living becomes higher, why do we become more sensitive and impatient? In fact, we are plagued by six major problems:

1. we are overly sensitive to what is uncomfortable. The more comfortable our lives are, the easier it is for us to get what we want, but we can be overly sensitive to small frustrations and insecurities, and our inner fears and anxieties can be infinitely magnified.

2. Many problems in life are triggered and activated by the switch of "survival instinct", which makes us feel dangerous and anxious, and painful.

3. Many times, we don't want to eat because we are hungry, but because we are in a bad mood. We use food to temporarily alleviate our inner discomfort. This "discomfort" stimulates our survival instinct and drives us to protect ourselves by eating.

4. Many people have insomnia. We think about things before they go to bed, over and over and over again resulting in sleeplessness. The quality of our sleep is closely related to our sense of security and control. If we feel out of control and insecure in our lives, then we have a hard time falling asleep.

5, although we sleep in a comfortable bed and are safe, our brain mistakenly believes that the work stress or emotional problems we face are not much different from when primitive people face fierce animals, so the alarm in our brain is constantly being sounded, suppressing our need to sleep and causing us to habitually lose sleep.

6. If we live in an atmosphere that makes us feel uneasy and anxious since childhood, our survival instinct will be stronger than others, and we will be very sensitive to external stimuli.

The factors in our lives that make us feel uncomfortable and that trigger our survival instincts have a lot to do with our brains. Our brain can be divided into several parts, such as the nucleus accumbens, the limbic system, and the cerebral cortex, according to their different functions. Among them, our emotions mainly originate from the limbic system. Since ancient times, the human brain has been constantly updated iterations, in order to better survive, the brain will be more conducive to the survival of people to save those response patterns, the next time the same situation, you will be able to respond quickly. For example, in the case of dangerous situations to escape, or you will die, there is food to enjoy, or the next meal may have to starve, encounter companions, to try to integrate them, to avoid fighting alone, so that when you encounter danger, the greater the probability of winning.

The situation we face now is very different from that of primitive societies, but the limbic system retains many emergent events that manifest themselves in various other ways in human life. The stimulus that causes us to react adversely is no longer the initial event, but something similar, if not similar, to it. A small infant is afraid of puppies and cries out when one leans toward him. After psychological induction, he may be afraid of all puppy-like animals or objects because as soon as he touches them, he tends to think he is touching the puppy's body, which triggers the little infant's fear.

In life, some people are claustrophobic and they are very afraid of being in enclosed spaces such as carriages, tunnels, and elevators. If they go through psychological generalization, they may fear and avoid any crowded environment because they treat crowded environments and enclosed spaces as the same thing, which causes them to deeply panic and in turn mistrust and doubt anyone around them. In addition to psychological generalization, the cultural environment we find ourselves in can also spawn anxiety and discomfort, thus lowering the threshold at which survival instincts are triggered.

We shared six problems that plague us in this part. Next time we will continue to share six causes and six solutions to these six problems.

Second part:

Six causes and six solutions to the subhealth problems of modern urbanites

In the first part, we share six problems that plague us. Now we will continue to share the six causes and six solutions to those six problems.

Fast food and takeout services are becoming more and more common. We are used to ordering meals by telephone. We can eat delicious food in 10 to 30 minutes, rather than enduring hunger in the long wait as in the past. After the habit becomes natural, if the takeout brother delivers the meal late, we may lose our temper. In addition to fast-food culture, the Internet has also contributed to anxiety. In the past, in order to find the answer to the problem, people needed to do research and go to the library to read all kinds of literature, materials, and books. Now people only need to click the mouse to get the answer. These things are gradually changing our expectations for dealing with things.

Now everything is getting faster and faster. People's psychology of wanting to be satisfied as soon as they have needs is becoming stronger and stronger, which also leads to people becoming more and more impatient. The consequence of anxiety caused by survival instinct is that more and more people are depressed and anxious, and people will quarrel over trivial things. Many medical disputes, interpersonal disputes, road rage, etc. are not major events, but they show ultra-high aggression, which is the anxiety caused by a strong survival instinct. We are coming to understand the six causes of the six problems that plague us:

"Now everything is getting faster and faster", illustrated by dawnxisoul393

1) We live in a fast-paced, frenetic age, we are all about efficiency in everything, we go too fast, we read too fast, and even marriage and divorce have become faster than before, and it is because of the speed that we may feel anxious because we can't catch up with others.

2) Many of our anxieties come from the Internet, most typically the implicit comparison of our circle of friends. Originally we think we are doing well, but when we enter our circle of friends, others have several suites, have several children, bought several luxury cars, traveled abroad, changed jobs, and increased salaries, all these will weaken our sense of well-being and provoke our anxiety of being abandoned by our peers.

3) Sometimes when we undergo virus testing or security checks at airports, subway stations, or other places, we may think the inspectors are taking too long to check, we may think the inspectors are purposely giving us trouble, and with such an overly absolute idea, we may be immediately angered and act inappropriately.

(4) We all like to stay in our comfort zone, at first, we may really feel comfortable, but over time, we will be hurt by this comfort, because the fewer challenges we face in our comfort zone, the comfort zone will shrink over time, when the comfort zone becomes smaller and smaller, just like the muscles in our body, if we do not exercise, the muscles will naturally atrophy, if we do not get out of our comfort zone for a long time and do not touch new things, we will be more and more resistant to new things.

5) When we are lying on the soft grass, basking in the bright sunshine and blowing the fresh autumn breeze, we suddenly get a few bites from insects and a few bags suddenly appear on our legs, which makes us very unhappy and angry, and the joy of weekend leisure is swept away.

6) In our lives, we often hold the idea that it's either black or white, we are either happy or miserable, comfortable or uncomfortable, good or bad, and this way of thinking can easily cause us to overreact emotionally.

We not only need adequate material security but also need to improve living standards. We not only need a sense of security but also need the security of mental health. How to live happily and healthily is the wish of each of us. Six leisurely koi tell us that each of us should start looking for ways to wash our hearts. let's:

1) Stay away from impetuosity, to relieve anxiety, we need to slow down. When we slow down, the muscles of our whole body will relax, the whole person's state of mind will be more peaceful, and our attention will be more focused. Naturally, we will not be so nervous and uneasy. We can try to slow down, appreciate the beautiful things around us, slow down eating, feel the different taste buds brought by food, slow down talking to people and listen to the real voice of others, which will make our minds more peaceful.

2) Curb the desire to play with our phones less if we don't have to for work. Because when we play with our phones, a few hours may pass quickly and we get a twinge of guilt and anxiety. We can set a fixed time for ourselves to go online and reduce our dependence on the Internet.

3) Each of us will inevitably have some emotional overreaction, this overreaction makes us vigilant and aware of our own problems, so as to constantly correct our goals and improve ourselves. Only when we know how to effectively manage emotional overreaction can we gain a real sense of inner peace and security.

4) To deal with discomfort, we can deal with discomfort by training dual perception. Dual perception is to allow two different feelings to exist at the same time to achieve an inner balance. In contrast, the dual perception system can mobilize multiple regions of the brain, so that the limbic system will not be too sensitive to think that external discomfort factors will harm us, weakening the absolute ruling power of the limbic system over emotion, so as to trigger our survival instinct less frequently and improve our ability to distinguish and deal with discomfort.

5) Smiling at adversity, or getting bitten by bugs or mosquitoes while enjoying a weekend on the grass is an unpleasant experience, but we can still reply with a big smile in the face of concerns from family or friends, rather than overshadowing an otherwise laughter-filled weekend for ourselves and those around us with a depressed mood.

6) Psychological balance, only when we constantly challenge the idea of either black or white, will our tolerance become stronger and stronger. We can try to listen to some songs with different styles from what we usually listen to, read some books we won't read before, or participate in a fun interest class, which can calm our emotional overreaction.

Let our minds find something to rely on outside of the drudgery of life so that we can work better, live better, improve ourselves, and nurture ourselves. Our bodies and minds are born with the ability to restore ourselves. We can use the power of our instincts and positive mental cues to restore ourselves, improve our physical, mental and spiritual condition, have a happy life, and create beautiful miracles in life. These six koi guide us to leave behind our common worries and help us find and accept our truest selves. By following these six koi, we will gradually find our coordinates in the world, give our hearts a destination, and trust that we will gain and remove the stress from our hearts. No matter what happens in the outside world, we can face it with a calm heart and improve our own happiness.

Six koi will surprise us as they will bring a golden glow to everything in our lives. Let's find surprises and true happiness with the help of six koi.
