Inside World | Outside World | My Spiritual Journey — 03
The outside world keeps you chasing things and people, while the inside world reminds you that you are already whole. You don’t need wealth, possessions, or others to feel happiness — everything you seek, you already are.

There is a world we can see, touch, and feel — one that offers us experiences so tangible we find every reason to call it real. Through our senses, we seek logical explanations for its existence, and over time, it becomes fundamental to our belief system: for something to be real, it must be understandable and perceivable by one or all of our senses.
Anything we cannot see — or hasn’t been seen — is considered nonexistent. Whatever we can’t comprehend is dismissed as false or mere fantasy. However, modern science has challenged this belief by proving the limitations of our physical senses.
We are connected to everything, and everything is connected to us — in the inner world. Its invisibility to our physical senses makes it even more magical, and in many ways, more real. To discover this world, you just have to look within. But at the same time, you must question everything — including the reality you believe in. You need an open heart, for this world cannot be grasped by a heart limited by worldly desires and temptations. Like Neo in The Matrix, you must choose the right pill to awaken into reality.
Let’s try to understand both worlds better — by observing how they call to us, how they draw us in. What is it that they invite us toward? Maybe by understanding this, we can step into the light of truth, and into the inner world.
“The eye goes blind when it only wants to see why.” — Rumi
Outside World: Look at that house — so beautiful and massive. The person living there must be incredibly lucky, surely happy to have such fortune. He probably owns an amazing collection of cars. Achieving all this must have required building a vast business empire, likely traveling the world to do so. What more could he possibly wish for? How fortunate he and his family must be. I wish I could have it all — for myself and my loved ones. But I’m not that lucky. I can’t have it. All I can do is admire it from afar, silently wish for it, and return to my own home. I struggle to feel content — and maybe this is how I’ll have to live for the rest of my life.
Inside World: Do you truly desire all that? Or is it contentment you seek? What if I offered you something more beautiful and infinitely more valuable than anything you’ve ever wished for? Something so rare, so sacred, that even comparing it to worldly things feels like a sin. And the best part — you can choose to have it right now.
It is you. Yes, you — and only you. You are vast enough to hold the entire universe within your chest, yet you long for a house that, in comparison, is no bigger than a grain of sand next to what you already possess. You are not just lucky — you are the very essence of luck. Happiness longs for you. Treasures chase after the great fortune that you already are.
If you truly want to know and feel the place I speak from, there’s only one simple thing you must do: spend as much time with your inner world as you do with the outer one. And if you cannot match that time, then give half of it — half of the half will do. Just begin.
I will meet you there and guide you on your journey, if you choose to take the first step. There’s something beautiful about it — the outside world runs from you when you chase it, but the inner world runs toward you the moment you walk its way.
“You wander from room to room hunting for the diamond necklace that is already around your neck.” — Rumi

Outside World: Look at that woman — why am I not beautiful like her? Why am I short and not attractive? What did I do wrong before coming into this world to be born this way? I wish I looked like her, so I could finally be happy.
Inside World: She may be beautiful or pretty, as you say — but you are just more. What more? More than the beauty of this world combined. This world is beautiful, yes, but you are beauty itself. The beauty of this world might fade in time, but your beauty has no end, just as it had no beginning. It has always been present, and it always will be.
Close your eyes, see yourself through my eyes, and tell me what you see. A magnificent eagle soaring through the sky — until it becomes the sky. A joyful fish leaping from the ocean — only to discover it is the ocean. Look how radiant the moon is tonight. Where does it get its light? The sun. But are you seeing what I see? What is the source of that sunlight? Is it you?
No — you are even more than that. It must be something beyond imagination, beyond comprehension. The universe? No — what holds the universe together? Now open your eyes and tell me, do you still feel the same? Do you still wish to be beautiful like her, giving up all that you already are?
I believe you now have a different question in your heart. You can return to that state I just took you to — even with your eyes open — if you spend enough time with me. Who am I? I am You. You are Me.
“I am not this hair, I am not this skin, I am the soul that lives within.”
“You and I are the same, I am in you and you are in me.” — Rumi

Outside World: I have no one — I’m completely alone in this world. The woman I loved left me for someone else. My friends and family disappeared when I lost my wealth. Look at me — how miserable can one person be? I once thought I had everything: family, friends, riches, and a loving partner, only to discover that it was all an illusion. It existed for a moment, like a mirage, and now it’s gone. And since I can no longer have it, I feel I’ll never know peace again. To live and die alone — that is my fate.
Inside World: What is it that makes you feel so hopeless? People — you long for their company, you blame them for leaving you, yet you never question why you’ve never truly shown up for yourself. They only did what you had already done to your own soul. Or perhaps something greater is at play — maybe this is the only way for you to finally meet yourself. It is in solitude that miracles unfold. A person needs their own presence more than the presence of others. If one feels lonely, it’s a sign they’ve been in darkness for too long, and now even the light feels frightening. That’s what’s happening to you. You need to open yourself up — to yourself.
If your relationship with yourself isn’t strong, this world and this life will feel like a burden or a mere distraction. A distraction from what? From reality. From light. And what are these? They are you.
These aren’t empty words without meaning. The fact that you can’t grasp them yet doesn’t make them untrue — it only means you’re not yet in the place to feel them, live them, and become them.
Stay. Stay, long enough to feel it. You are the friend, the beloved, and the lover. I will help you see this, if only you choose to stay long enough.
“Don’t grieve. Anything you lose comes round in new form.” — Rumi

Inside World | Outside World: While the outside world constantly demands something external — more and more of everything — the inside world already possesses everything, vast and ever-expanding like the universe itself.
Relying solely on your perception of reality will only blind you to the light; it doesn’t alter the truth. There is more of you within (the eternal you) and more of the world outside (a fleeting mirage).
Pursuing mirages will only lead you to a dark valley where you may become lost forever. Seek the light within, for that is your rightful place — the center of the universe — and in your light, others will find their way.
“The small man builds cages for everyone he knows. The wise man, who has been to the moon, does not pick up the shovel to build a cage for others.” — Hafiz
