"You know the vary powerful and the vary stupid have one thing in common. They don't alter their views to fit the facts. They alter the facts to fit their views. Which can be uncomfortable if you happen to be one of the facts that needs altering" Doctor Who, The Fourth Doctor. The Face of Evil.

What is judgment? The Oxford dictionary defines judgement as

1. The ability to make considered decisions or come to sensible conclusions. 2. A misfortune or calamity viewed as a divine punishment.

This ability comes in all forms and ways it could be a look, a word, a thought, and a treatment.

Judgment can be a harsh, it can make someone hurt themselves when they try hard someone they are not. There is a saying that goes like this; "Sticks and stones may break my bones, but bones will never hurt me." The saying is partly true sticks and stones will break my bones, but words also leave a mark. You cannot just say one thing to someone rather it be against their character, beliefs, and so on.

There is a intersting story where a teachers hands a rolled up paper to a group of students and told them to insult, judge, and bully the paper while they do anything they want to the paper. At first the students where not really into the idea, but after seeing the teacher showed them how to do the task they started to get into the task and even came up with some intersting names and ways to bully the paper. After a while the teacher stopped them and said that they have to come up with some nice words and names as the students talked the teacher smoothed out the paper by the time they where done she had the paper flat. She asked the students if the paper looked as nice as it did before the answer was no. She told them that words leave marks no matter what we do with the person afterwords.

In the Bible says "Judge not least ye be Judge" not everyone follows the creed when they meet people who are not like them. If someone act, think, dress, look, or even have different beliefs than everyone else why? Because, they think that we all have to have the same beliefs, think the same, in other words be like everyone else in order to be perfect. No one is perfect if we all where perfect we would not learn anything from having a different experences, we would also not be who we are today without our differences. Though there are people who think that we should all be the same in having the same faith, dress code, and so on.

Words have power, words are like magic spells, some would say words are dangerous, and others say that words are peaceful. There is another saying that says "The pen is mighter than the sword" is this true? Yes we have the ability to start wars, end wars, hurt someone, or help them fall in love with us. We all judge on a daily bases that is part of us being human at a base evolutionary level it helps keep us alive, but what happens when we go from judging based what would keep us alive to being judgmental to the point that we hurt someones feelings.

In churches it seems that the judgement is harsher because people feel like they have to be the judge, jury, and executioner for those they feel do not fit the format that the bible laid out. Though this is based on mans idea about what they read in the bible. there is some agreement that you should go over the top in somethings, but we have to have a way to express ourselves. Though there is some people who say one thing and then turn around and do something different. If you are wonder I do know of some people like this and have personaly interacted with them. I am not going to talk a whole lot about them, but will say that they where toxic people who made others feel like they could never be perfect.

Question, how come people make others feel like the worse or not perfect? There is the idea in social psychology that suggests that when someone does something that goes against the group the "leaders" will do anything in their power to kick this person out of the group. It is a sad part of psychology that has been studied and looked at for a while. Though the question is why? Could this be a safety mechanisim? What about people who are kicked out of the group? Being judged is not something everyone wants to experence in their lives. Because, when someone is being judged they start to feel like they are not going to be good enough for anything, they feel like they have to be fake, they will do anything that goes against their personal viewpoints this could be sucking up to people or dressing the same as everyone else.

There is not one answer, but I will say that this is bad for those who are kicked out of the groups they feel that no one wants them so why brother with trying to be part of that group. There is something called Religious trauma for people who feels like they are being treated like they are going to hell or are not perfect enough to be part of the group. It is a thought that the children who had grown up in churches leave because they feel that the older generation in the church judged them for different reasons. I was a member of a church that the teachings was good, but the older generation did not understand why the younger generation would want to move out, leave the church, and so on. This is one reason that I do not understand why members of churches teach one thing, but do or say things differently.
