Factors of schizophrenia
Watch out for schizophrenia

Nowadays, there are more and more friends suffering from schizophrenia, so more people are beginning to care about the main cause of schizophrenia. We know that there are many reasons that can cause schizophrenia. Let me introduce you to the factors of schizophrenia.
The effects of schizophrenia
1. Schizophrenia will have confusion of thoughts
Once a person suffers from schizophrenia, it is first of all confusion in ideology, feeling ignorant of everything that is already familiar to him, and even thinking that everything in front of him is something that hurts himself. So they will hurt others when they get sick. The socialization of schizophrenia has shown terrible features.
2. Schizophrenia lacks basic judgment
People with schizophrenia lack basic judgment about people and things around them. As time progresses, the reaction will become slower and slower. Social skills are degraded, even being alone in a room all day long, unwilling to see people. In the family, the harm of schizophrenia caused by the onset of patients cannot be underestimated. For example: beating and scolding, crying and laughing, messing things up, sabotage without any scruples, etc. When the condition is under control, they are completely ignorant of what they did when they became ill.
3. Schizophrenia can cause suicide
Although this disease has no physical pain, the mental pain is obvious to all. It seriously endangers human health and causes patients to be unable to enjoy normal life, work and study. According to a study by the World Health Organization, the suicide rate of patients with schizophrenia is 4-10%, and those with suicide attempts can reach 40%. This number can prove to us how harmful the disease is to people.

What are the causes of schizophrenia
1. Neurobiological factors
Neurobiochemical studies have shown that patients have a variety of neurotransmitter dysfunctions, mainly involving dopamine, serotonin, and glutamate. The central dopamine level is increased and the function is hyperactive. Traditional antipsychotics are all dopamine receptor blockers in the central nervous system. Central serotonin levels are abnormal. In addition to antagonizing dopamine receptors, new antipsychotics also have antagonistic effects on serotonin receptors. The central glutamate level is low and the function is insufficient.
2. Genetic factors
The prevalence among relatives of patients is several times higher than that of the general population. The closer the blood relationship, the higher the prevalence. Molecular genetic studies have suggested susceptibility genes related to schizophrenia. At present, it is generally believed that schizophrenia may be inherited by multiple genes, and the onset is caused by several factors.
3. Social psychology factors
Social and psychological factors such as adverse life events, economic status, pre-ill personality, etc. may have played an inducing and promoting role in the onset of schizophrenia. The cause of schizophrenia has not yet been fully elucidated, and some of the influencing factors that can be determined at present have no clear causal relationship to the disease. At present, the generally accepted view is that susceptibility and external unfavorable factors work together through internal biological factors to cause the occurrence of diseases.

How to prevent schizophrenia
1. Drug treatment should be given priority. There are many treatments for this disease. However, the Chinese medicine method is more respected by the majority of patients. Because traditional Chinese medicine can largely avoid the various side effects of western medicine treatment and its high recurrence rate. For example, western medicine can make patients fat, stupefied, and dependent on drugs. And western medicine treatment will make the condition come back and forth
2. Insist on maintenance dose medication treatment. It is the most effective measure to prevent recurrence. A large number of clinical statistics show that the recurrence of most schizophrenia is related to the self-discontinuation of the drug. The recurrence rate of patients who adhere to the maintenance dose is 40%. The recurrence rate of those who did not adhere to the maintenance dose was as high as 80%. Therefore, patients and their families should attach great importance to maintenance treatment.
3. Reduce predisposing factors. Family members and people around should fully realize the weakness of the patient's mental state after illness and help arrange daily life. Often talk to patients, help patients treat diseases correctly, treat real life correctly, help patients improve their psychological endurance, encourage patients to increase their confidence, and enable patients to live in an environment free of psychological pressure and mental distress.
