ENFP and ESFPs- The Inspirers or Encouragers
ENFP and ESFP

ENFP and ESFP - the inspirers
E NFP and ESFP are often seen as the inspirers or encouragers, amongst the most inspiring or encouraging types in the MBTI system. . Both of these types are enthusiastic, upbeat, and have generous and spontaneous energies. It is interesting to explore the positive nature of their inspiring nature - yet also how other types can be inspiring. ENFP and ESFP are seen as the inspirers because of their social and encouraging nature.
At times ENFP and ESFP can have a darker emotional tone to ENTP or ESTP, it can make them emotionally unavailable and hard to reach. Introverted feeling may mean they keep a certain distance in their interactions with others. While they are seen as some of the most extroverted types, they can have a moody side. When they more reserved and critical they show a side that is darker emotionally.
Despite this ENFP and ESFP can be people that represent some inspiring and idealistic qualities that people may want to aspire to. Their sense of idealism can be admirable and the way they relate to others can be seen as inspiring. It is interesting to think of ENFP and ESFP as symbolic for an inspiring element of human nature.
The song by Cyndi Lauper 'True colors' expresses the nature of an ESFP's generosity -
You with the sad eyes
Don't be discouraged I realize
It's hard to take courage
In a world full of people
You can lose sight of it all
The darkness inside you makes you feel so small
I see your true colours shining through
I see your true colours
ENFPs and ESFP darker emotional tone can make them hard to reach at times. ENTP and ESTP at times seem lighter emotionally and to not take things as seriously - which makes them more valued as friends who don't take things as seriously. ENFPs and ESFPs also have an upbeat quality usually, though they do tone emotionally as more prone to emotional idealism, than ExTps. This is out of their concern for other people that they care about.
It is perhaps a quality of introverted feeling that makes them hard to reach. The introverted feeling function can be quite dark and critical, yet its users are at times paradoxically more gentle and kind in comparison to extroverted feeling. This is because introverted feeling is more emotionally intelligent and more emotionally reflective and in this way can seem 'sad' yet also emotionally inspiring.
ENFP is given the title of the inspirer and ESFP as the entertainer, yet both are often inspiring and warm-hearted personalities. When they show their generous side it can be motivational and others may be touched or see them as warm hearted people whose generosity is something to admire and aspire to.
ExFPs have an interest in people that makes them inspiring. It is because of their encouragement and interest in people is what makes them inspiring at individuals. Sometimes it seems people lose sight of the importance of valuing others - and these types that are more relational remind us of this importance and how it can be inspiring in a world that can seem broken.
ExFPs are generally happy and upbeat kinds of people usually even though they can hide a darker emotional side. People are drawn to their sense of optimism and sense of fun and adventure. They also tend to be a nature that is drawn towards others and believes in the value of people which is admirable.
ENFPs and ESFP are people who believe in the value of people. This is part of what can make these types so motivational or uplifting, as sometimes people forget to find value in others. ENFP and ESFP value in people helps find an uplifting or inspiring side of human nature.
