Xena Poem #2

Strength

Xena and Gabrielle

Why can't you understand that I am here for you no matter who you are, no matter what you do. So when the world attacks you, and you feel your anger grow.

Crash into me, Xena. I'm stronger than you know.

If the injustice you see enrages you and inner pain stings your eyes making the biggest battle you fight, your own tears.

Lie close with me at night, Xena. Let me hold you near.

My Champion, My Protector, My Hero, how I long to show you MY strength. I will wrap my arms around you.

For you, I'll go the length.
