we tag team meltdowns
but never leave a player hangin’
play to each other’s skills cause we know
we got our strengths,
our weaknesses are blind spots for the other to look for
pill reminders and knowing when to stop pushin’ a subject,
i ask the same question five times even though i know there was an answer
she answers six times because she knows i just wasn’t listening enough the first five times
i always know where her phone is (usually right next to her)
we laugh at my never-perfect parking
and at how her balancing act is a stumble but always with a cheeky smile,
she’s hilarious, I’m silly, together we get funny
there’s always something to laugh about even if it’s through tears and locks on doors that seem to always get jammed
i can’t wait for our kids to hear all the wild shenanigans we got up to

Always having something to laugh about is one of the most importantly things in any kinda relationship. I'm so happy you both have that!
