The Kiss | A Viator

Since it's pride month, I have been working on a few Pride poems. I usually consider all my love poems Pride poems, but I know there's much more to it than my mushy lesbian poems so I am going to share a few of my new ones.

Since she kissed me

the world hasn't looked the same

flowers are more fragrant

colors more bright

all the world just feels right.

--

I've had an extra skip in my step

since she kissed me

I smile like a fool

I walk like a song

I feel happier all day long.

--

It was glorious when our lips met

something I've never felt again

since she kissed me

I can still smell her perfume

I hope to see her again soon.

--

Time moves so much slower

away from her presence now

I want to see her worse than ever

since she kissed me

but I don't know how.

--

Nothing has ever moved me this much

Her smile, her voice

All sent from heaven to me

Now I live my life joyfully

since she kissed me.

Love is love, as long as it is felt between two people who is to say what is right or wrong. The Pride movement has made major inroads into the stigma that once was.
