Recently I watched the NYC pride parade 🏳️🌈 and it was a day of positivity and a celebration of being gay! There was drag queens and kings and dancing and also Gloria and Emilio Estefans daughter who is an out and loud and proud member of the 🏳️🌈 community Emily performed.
There was a wonderful energy in the air that day and I even felt it and mind you I was watching it on television. The music was great and the floats were fantastic! The rainbow 🌈 Gay pride flag flew proudly in the streets of New York City. Simply memorable.

Day 4 of Quitting
If this is how sobriety feels, maybe it’s better to go through life a little buzzed… this, along with other hits like, I want to kill myself, I wish I was dead, and I’m going to throw myself off a bridge have been the only thoughts on rotation these past few days. I promise myself that if, in a month, I still feel like this (‘this’ meaning despondent, full of rage, and simultaneously numb) I can go back to smoking. Until mid-February though? Nicotine is off the table.
