The Rainbow In Me

Yes, I love you,

I love her, too,

Our hands were made for holding,

Not one, but two,

Yes,

I have feelings for males,

And females,

I also have a desire,

And I can love both,

I don't deserve to be hidden in a closet,

I deserve to be free

I'm not a monster,

Or a statue,

I am a bisexual woman,

Who can be both monogamous,

And polygamous, too,

But aren't I allowed to be human, free to feel what I feel?

If I have to live a lie, I'm not living as my whole self;

Am I human at all?

My desires are natural,

They are not something I can live without,

Without being who I am,

The whole woman in me can't exist.

Please remember;

This is who I am,

This is the rainbow in me,

If you take that away,

I can't be the woman who you say,

You love.
