rest in peace to the late great lead singer of Dead or Alive Pete Burns. The band is known for the classic spin me right round like a record baby from the 1980s. Dead or Alive had always reminded me of a culture club tribute act that made good. Other tracks that Dead or Alive was known for was the song brand new lover. As their career went on, they found their dick and niche on the 80s festival circuit.

Pete Burns had a great sense of fashion and he was out loud and proud to be gay. Over the years his appearance had changed greatly due to his amounts of plastic surgery. Pete Burns will always be a gay icon!

Not only was he a music icon but he had done a lot of reality television in England or the 🇬🇧 United Kingdom. What else I loved about him is that he was unapologetically honest and in your face. When Pete Burns died I had heard that Boy George being the good person he is with a heart of gold had helped the Burns family to pay for his funeral.
There were so many remixes of both of Dead or Alice’s most successful and iconic songs through the years. I had heard the song “Brand New Lover” for the first time and I was really blown away by the song. Also the concept of the video is a like a spaghetti western that was filmed in a factory or a ranch. The music of Dead or Alive is so quintessentially 80’s that their music has able to transcend time and years and still remain true to the time that they had emerged and also found their fame as well as their individual fortunes.
