Light My Fire

Thoughts of a lovesick poet

By K FPublished 2 years ago 1 min read

So smitten.. she admits to me.

The blush that I can imagine that darkens across her cheeks,

That cheesy grin that radiates a glow like no other

With shades of red which brings out the green in those forest eyes.

Her voice,

So soft as silk,

The most heavenly melody

which is like music to my ears.

My twin flame,

the fire that melts through my walls,

The barriers I put up so high

She just walks through with ease.

Never would I have thought

from just a simple swipe,

I’d find my heart skipping beats

With how in every form she matches me.

Beautiful! Love how much passion is in the words 🩷 "Twin flame" says so much so simply! FYI: I'm officially relying on these poems to help me trust love is still possible! lol
