I've been doing a lot of writing the past few weeks, which is great because I had writer's block for such a long time. I've been really excited about my writing lately. So much so that I broke my silence with her and I wrote her. I sent her a google translate link to my poem, "Growing up gay" in Turkish.
"... is typing a message."
I'm sure I held my breath as I saw the words. It's not something I see much anymore. She said she liked my poem. That it was "sincere and heartfelt"
She said I was really talented at writing poetry, which is something she's told me many times before, but I never get tired of reading it from her. She said she was sorry that the website wouldn't allow her to vote and then she had to go back to work since it's after 11:00 AM there.
What she doesn't know is, each word she wrote was like 100 votes each...
