Are you the person who wants to get ahead?

By Mark König on Unsplash

I’ve had many people ask me how I got so far in life with so little. The truth is, I have no idea how to answer that question. All I know is that if you want something bad enough, you will find a way to get there.

Whether it’s for love, money, or success, if you are determined enough to get what you want, then all the obstacles in your way are just temporary setbacks.

But what about when nothing seems to be working? What do you do when nothing can seem to go right?

Consider this blog post the ultimate guide on how to succeed with three simple steps. So whether you want to learn how to start over once again or make a new beginning with these three steps, read on!

Are you too afraid to fail?

When you’re trying to get ahead, there are three things that will always stop you in your tracks: fear, anger, and apathy.

If you’ve ever felt these emotions before, you know that they can stop you from achieving your goals. Fear tells us not to try anything new, anger causes us to lash out at people around us for no reason, and apathy stops us from even caring about ourselves.

How do we get past these emotions? The answer is simple! You need to take a deep breath and make yourself more confident. If you want to be more successful, then it’s important that you learn how to deal with these issues or else they will continue holding you back.

The three steps that will get you from zero to hero in 6 months.

I’m not going to lie. It’s not easy to go from zero to hero in six months. It takes a lot of hard work and determination. But what I did was break down the process into three simple steps that anyone can follow no matter their circumstance.

The first step is to get rid of your fear of failure. Fear might seem like an abstract concept, but it has tangible effects on your success level. You need to stop thinking about how you will be judged by society if you fail and start thinking about the benefits of trying something new even if it doesn't work out in the end. The next step is finding some inspiration for what you want to do with your life. This could be anything! It could be someone who inspires you or an experience that changed your life- that's all up for grabs! Make sure that whatever it is, it's something that really excites you. Lastly, find a way to incorporate what you're passionate about into your life, even if it means doing something part time while working another job on the side. But don't forget to have fun along the way!

Find your passion

The first step in this process is to find your passion. You have to do this before anything else because you will need a drive, a reason to get up every morning and work hard to becoming the person you want to be.

I know it’s hard but find something that makes you happy and start there. From there, your passions may change from time-to-time, but it’s a good place to start.

Find the right mentor

By Sigmund on Unsplash

A mentor is a person who provides guidance and support to a new or less experienced person while the new person learns.

This is a great way to get ahead, because it allows you to learn from someone else’s mistakes. You get to use their knowledge and experience in order to make your own way up the ladder without making the same mistakes they did. A mentor can help you see how do things right from the beginning, which will make it easier for you when you start on your own path.

Create a plan.

By Alvaro Reyes on Unsplash

There is no one-size-fits-all plan for success. If you want to go from zero to hero, you need a plan that’s suited to your own life and goals. You can’t follow someone else’s plan and expect it will work the same way for you as it does for someone else.

What your plan should contain:

1) What do you want?

2) What is holding you back?

3) How do you break those barriers?

4) What resources do you need to succeed?

5) What time frame are you working with? 6) Who will help keep you accountable as we work through this process?
