The Real Leader of Indian Independence

On 15th August India is celebrating her Independence Day. Apart from India Congo Democratic Republic, South Korea and Lichtenstein also observe their Independence Day.

The amazing act about Independent India is that Hyderabad was the last province which was included in free India. Unfortunately Mahatma Gandhi could not participate in first celebration because on that day he was in Bengal. during last 77 years India achieved many goals, many freedom fighters sacrificed their lives.

After many movements and struggles India ultimately got freedom. let us know some crucial facts related to Indian Independence: The Indian Tri-Colour came into existence after many alterations.

the recent flag was made in 1921 by a farmer of Tamilnadu- named Pingli Venkaiya. Initially there were only two colours in Indian flag, saffron and green, white strip in middle and Ashok Chakra was the idea of M.K. Gandhi. It is believed that saffron colour in Indian flag symbolizes valor and sacrifice while green represents trust and doughtiness. white colour is the symbol of peace.

The recent national flag was accepted on 22nd July 1947. till December 2021 only a special organization had the license of making and supplying Indian flag. It was revised on 30th December 2021. Now polyester made or machine made flags are also allowed. There was no National Anthem on first Independence Day. The Bangla version of National Anthem was written in 1911 but it was accepted as National Anthem on 1950. Mahatma Gandhi was in Bengal ( present Bangladesh) on first Independence Day, where he was trying to maintain peace and harmony among tensed Hindus and Muslims.

On 9 August 1947 he reached Calcutta (Kolkata) and there too he worked for peace. He started his strike to prevent the riots and maintain peace. Lord Mount baton was in this favor that India should be given freedom on 15th August due to a special reason . On the same day three more countries also celebrate their day of Independence. Congo democratic Republic is the third biggest country of African continent. On 15th August 1960 Congo succeed in getting their freedom from French colonialists.

Even after the freedom, Filbert Yolo ruled till 1963 as the president. On 15th August 1945 North Korea and South Korea got freedom from Japan. On 15 August 1945 the country became Democratic People Republic of Korea. On the other hand , Lichtenstein is among the smallest countries in the world. Here is Monarchy. In 1866 this country succeed acquiring her freedom from Germany. 15th August 1940 is celebrated here as National day.

Mahatma Gandhi wanted that congress should be dissolved because his motive of freedom had been fulfilled. One day before his assassination he wrote the rule -book of congress. When India got freedom, Goa was under Portuguese rule. It became a part of Indian Union in 1961.Except this, many states were not in existence which later on became the part of Indian Republic.

During independence there were 17 provinces and more than 550 kingly- states. After independence these kingly- states have been included either in Indian Union or Pakistan. recently there are 28 states and 8 Union Territories in Indian Union. The first Prim Minister of India Jawahar Lal Nehru was a style icon. He was seen in an edition of VOG magazine. The unique dressing sense of Nehru became a trend in the world.

Hindi is not a national language of India. It was choose as first official language and declared in 1949. The Indian National Anthem was sang first time on 27 december,1911 in the Annual convention of National Congress. this song was sounded by the niece of Rabindra Nath Tagore Sarla Devi Chaudhary. She sang this song in a school programme. The recent tune of National Anthem is taken from a small district of Andhra Madan Pillai .

Margret, who was the wife of famous poet James Cousin , She was the Principal of Besant Theosophical college . She translated Indian National Anthem in English. Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose made a proper translation of National Anthem from Bangla to Hindi. Captain Abid Ali translated National Anthem in Hindi while music was given by captain Ram Singh.

On 26th January 1950 Hyderabad dully became a part of India. It was the day when Indian constitution was implemented. In 1950 M.K. Velodi became the Chief Minister of the state. Till 15 August there was no border line between India and Pakistan. It was decided on 17 August by the declaration of Redcliff line. This line was declared by British advocate Cyril Redcliff. during 1975 Sikkim became the last and 22nd state which included in Indian Union. Before that it was a protected state.

Every year Prime Minister unfurls Indian flag from the rampart of Red Fort. this fort was constructed by fifth mughal emporer Shahejhan. In the year 2007 UNESCO included it in world heritage list. Most of the people are not aware about a fact of Red Fort. The fact is that its real colour is not red but white. when it was constructed the colour was different.

According to Indian Archeology Department , many parts of this building were made by lime stone; due to it the colour of this building was white after some time the lime began to fall, The English people made it painted by red colour. It was the reason the building is called Red Fort . The real name of this building is Killa-E-Mubaraq. During mughal period the people of Royal family used to call it Mubarq Kila.
