Hiding out in Hip Hop

A brief book review

By Revista XCI by Rikki La Rouge Published 2 months ago 1 min read

I don’t understand why there is homophobia in Hip Hop and there is that in other musical genres. Hiding out in Hip Hop is a book from a gay hip hop insider who without ever given the names leaves one a lot of clues as to who the author of the book just might be referring to.

The book is really an exposé without actually exposing and fully blowing the whistle. It is an interesting read at that. I bought a copy of this book at a thrift store and I thought that it would be an interesting read and it was.
