Thoughts of a lovesick poet

By K FPublished about a year ago 1 min read

In the garden of my heart, she bloomed,

A rose among the wildflowers,

Her presence, a fragrance that lingered,

Soft and sweet, wrapping around my senses.

I knew I loved her when her voice,

A melody in the chaos,

Soothed the storm within me,

Each word a note that resonated deep.

Her smile, a sunrise breaking the night,

Illuminating the shadows of my doubts,

And in that light, I saw my truth,

A love that grew, unspoken yet profound.

Her touch, a whisper on my skin,

Like the first rain on parched earth,

Reviving, renewing, a promise of life,

In her, I found my home, my haven.
