I wanted to write a quick write up about a group I found on Meetup.com that I feel is a fun group to spend time writing with. 3 out of 4 weeks they write Ekphrastically, meaning they write after viewing a piece of art, or a painting, the other 1 week out of 4 they do poetry sharing. Well, actually every week includes some amount of poetry sharing.
Having groups to write with is a wonderful way to connect with others, yourself and your writing. I personally get something out of every meeting I attend. The group leader's name is "Forrest" and she's amazing!
