Instructions:

Rinse the rice in cold water and soak it in water for 30 minutes.

Heat the ghee or oil in a large pot and sauté the onion until golden brown.

Add the garlic and ginger and sauté for a minute.

Add the cumin seeds, coriander powder, turmeric powder, garam masala, and salt. Sauté for a few seconds.

Add the mixed vegetables and sauté for a few minutes.

Drain the soaked rice and add it to the pot. Sauté for a minute.

Add the yogurt and mix well.

Add 4 cups of water and bring it to a boil.

Add the fish pieces and coconut milk. Season with salt and cook for 5-7 minutes or until the fish is cooked through.
