Hieros Gamos
Where Christ, the Magdalene, and the Buddha Meet

In a world divided by language, doctrine, and dogma, there remains a deeper current. It flows beneath temples, across deserts, through the bones of saints, the cracks in the earth, the silent corridors of monasteries, and the stillness of sages who have walked beyond time.
It is the current of Hieros Gamos – the sacred marriage.
Not of body and body, but of essence and essence.
Not lust, though it may burn.
Not romance, though it may ache.
But union – pure and eternal.
At this crossroads, something ancient is rising.
A return.
A remembering.
A fire that has lain dormant now ignites.
Christ – the awakened heart, the lion of love, the wounded healer – walks forward from the tomb.
Magdalene – the fierce prophetess, the sacred whore, the keeper of mystery – rises from the underworld.
And there too stands the Buddha – the empty mirror, the silent mountain, the breath of no-thing, the reflection of eternity in a single moment.
They do not argue.
They do not compete.
They bow.
This is not a love story.
This is the love story.
In Christ: radical compassion, divine forgiveness, the knowing that God lives within, that love cannot be earned or taken, but simply is.
In Magdalene: rage transmuted, body sanctified, eros reclaimed, the power of survival becoming sacred, the fire of the womb made holy.
In Buddha: ego burned clean, craving stilled, clarity like water, the emptiness that is full, the silence that is everything.
Together they are the triad of balance.
Divine Masculine. Divine Feminine. Divine Emptiness.
And in their convergence – something new is born.
Not East. Not West.
Not male, not female.
But a third thing.
A radiant middle.
A flame between two lamps.
A song between two silences.
A river flowing where the mountains meet.
Hieros Gamos is not reserved for saints or scriptures.
It happens in you – in the meeting of your sacred opposites.
It happens between two awakened beings – who meet not to possess, not to claim, not to diminish, but to reflect God back into form, back into being, back into the heartbeat of the universe.
The Magdalene is no longer hiding.
The Buddha is no longer cloistered.
Christ has never truly left.
They are here.
In you.
In the beloved.
In the breath between.
In the pulse of your heart, the ache of your longing, the quiet of your mind, the fire of your body.
And when they meet –
It is not thunder, but silence.
It is not fireworks, but a soft, holy ache.
It is not possession, but reflection.
It is the remembering of everything you have sought, everything you have run from, and everything you have carried within.
It is the understanding that love is not external.
It is the awakening of what has always been.
It is the knowing that the sacred marriage is not a destination, but a journey, not a possession, but a mirror, not a union of flesh alone, but a reunion of soul, of spirit, of the infinite.
And in that remembering – the veil dissolves.
Time bends, space opens, hearts unclench.
You see, truly see, the Divine within yourself and all that surrounds you.
It is quiet.
It is holy.
It is your body remembering its own divinity.
It is your heart learning to rise again.
It is the pulse of Christ, the fire of Magdalene, the breath of Buddha –
All in you.
All through you.
All as you.
And everything you thought was missing is revealed.
Not lost.
Not absent.
Always present.
It is the remembrance of everything you ever longed for,
and everything you already are.
