What to do when your not able to find something to help with a serve medical condition like Psoriasis?

So this been a long journey for the last 2-3 years my mom has been dealing with bad rheumatoid psoriasis and arthritis.She has bad days and rarely some good days....nights can be worse usually. So I been trying to find a place to get a Topical CBD product that can help with pain / dry skin.

I've tried a few but haven't found one that can help her yet. She does take Otezla (tablets 30mg) and Cosentyx (Injection 300mg) and she uses a cream with steroids which helps but she can only use it for 2 weeks then she has to take a 2 week break from it. In the first year she was only on the pill and cream and that wasn't giving much results, So switched to the Injections which had some results but not much, unfortunately we had to pause the treatment for a long time because she had got bit by a dog and caused a blood infection. After surgery and infection clearing up that's when we were recommended she should take both the pills and injections.

So that's why I would like to try to find a good alternate treatment that might benefit, Unfortunately I live in NYC....I see a lot of products around but not sure where to start. I will be testing and maybe reviewing products slowly since it can be pretty expensive. I would like to post reviews on CBD products that I use and that I will be testing for Pain / Dry Skin. It was bad before Covid-19 but now she been getting more pain daily in her knees, trouble sleeping and takes her awhile to stand up. So many products at different price points but some don't seem to work at all.

I'm new to writing and doing product reviews but I am hoping by doing reviews maybe I can get her help and maybe this can help anyone else having trouble looking for the best solutions. Although I know every treatment works different for different people, I've heard of people getting good results with CBD products so I figured that would be good with less side effects. I've also been looking at CBD Oils, since I seen a few articles that have speculation that it can be a great alternative treatment.

The psoriasis mostly effects the skin, and it spreads pretty fast to your hands/scalp/ears and other parts of body. Arthritis spreading through her knees/bones/joints and spine. So I'll mostly be looking for a pain reliever for the arthritis and moisturizer cream for the psoriasis.

Conventional psoriasis drugs boast a long list of severe side effects – could CBD be the safe, all-natural therapy that millions of sufferers are looking for? “Research has shown CBD’s potential to influence the underlying conditions of psoriasis — as well as the onslaught of symptoms brought on by its characteristic pathways.” It is said that CBD might not treat psoriasis but can potentially reduce flare ups. CBD has been showing remarkable healing properties for a number of common autoimmune disorders – psoriasis among them.

Depending on the results I'll be posting more and might do a few video / picture results to show more accurate results. If anyone has any product recommendations, I'd be very happy to test them out to see if it would work.
