Photograph and floral arrangement by Harriet Parry
Quietly they fold back the soil.
Drawn to the apricot sky.
A soft focus rests on the scales reading;
set against this vivid colour.
There they lie, wrapped in a rainbow.
Dreams left diluted beyond their prism walls.
Colours have been collected for each of their Gods.
In a momentary staging; of a time lived in truth.
Within this moment, a reflection;
on what was misplaced for a time.
Now lean into your soft flesh, they say.
As it is ripe for the making.
So we are daylight touched:
with crimson, ochre, and magenta.
Hold these in your palm with the warmest affection.
For this, is your pigment realised.
