You’re Not Here Anymore

We will miss your warm hugs and smiles

when you opened your front door

You’re Not Here Anymore

We will miss you and grandad Pretending

the kitchen was a ballroom floor

You’re not here anymore

We will miss the ABBA road trips

The ones as we got older we wished for more

You’re not here anymore

we will miss your bacon and egg butties

You made by the score

You’re not here anymore

We will miss you singing at Christmas

After a Sherry or four

You’re not here anymore

We will miss you

But you’ll watch over us I’m sure

You’re not here anymore

Your still our nan forevermore

heartbreak
