Missing love by Ali Sadeek
Your Love Is Lost
Time has turned, unveiled my pain,
And softly whispered its farewell refrain.
A fleeting word, like autumn’s call,
Drifting away—a final fall.
You sold my hope, the war was fought,
Between what’s real and what is not.
Is loss the dream I longed to claim,
Or just a shadow draped in flame?
What can I do? My hope has died,
It speaks of you, yet none abide.
Love hears its plea, but pain replies,
What choice remains, but silent cries?
How can I hide what’s left unsaid,
A moment shared, a path we tread?
My thirst was quenched, my heart was bound,
Yet all I loved is lost, unfound.
Do you believe in peace and grace?
Did dreams of harmony light your face?
Or was your heart, so cold, so vile,
A dagger forged in ruthless guile?
A lie I lived, a love embraced,
Yet here I stand, my fate replaced.
A guiding light has set me free,
From vengeance blind and agony.
Oh Lord, protect me from deceit,
And spare my soul from time’s defeat.
