Since you have left,
I’ve been stricken by the harrowing realization that,
Love, like fire, cannot grow when suffocated,
Enclosed in a chamber, it is snuffed out,
Never to emerge as something beautiful, rather,
Crass, and crooked, having not seen sunlight in an,
Eternity. So how could it possibly grow when drowned in salty raindrops?

Such a heart breaker; painfully eloquent.
Thought provoking and very emotional. :)
Nice finishing touch! Very profound in its simplicity. Loved it!!!
Amazing!
What a wondrous visual you've woven with so few words. Well done.
