Young men Young men

I used to walk in your footsteps

I used to be you

young men young men

I used to play flag football

I used to play basketball

Young men Young men

I used to talk like you do

I used to slang like you say

Young men Young men

I used to trip like you do

I used to rap like you do

Young men Young men

I used to have hotties like you

I used to slip and sly like you do

Young men Young men

I used to be as smart as you

I used to be as clever as you

Young men Young men

What happen to me

What change me

was life

Life made me stronger

Life made me realer

Life made me something

I stopped tripping and slying

Stopped lying and playing

And I became a man like you should
