You want to be me

All my layers

By Aubrey jamesPublished 2 years ago 1 min read

I have known you for four years

People say we look alike

But I don’t want to look anything like you

Any similarity to you is something I would hate about myself

You are like my shadow

You are everywhere I look

It’s true,we kind of look alike

In more ways than one

I don’t like who I am when I’m with you

But you love that person

Lately I have been noticing a lot of things

How you steal my words

Try to talk like me

Use my products , Act like me

I get the feeling you would wear my skin if you can

They say imitation is the best form of flattery

I rather be insulted

You act like its all in my head

Like you don’t covert my ideas

Like you wouldn’t want to be me

But I know you do

And it fucking scares me.
