You're the train that crashed my heart

Gaslit

Gaslit Station

You’re the train that crashed my heart,

You’re the train that tore me apart

You’re the train that blew me away

You’re the train that made me say

How I felt, but the catch was

Instead of staying at the station,

You were the gaslight express

Making me repress

And making me feel unwell

And then refusing to clearly tell

The truth, because to me, it wasn’t clear

If it had of been- we wouldn’t be here…

Or… just me

Because the train doesn’t stop here anymore…

heartbreak
