You make home better.

It is in you, I found a place called, home.

The joyful memories of us together,

Enjoying each others presence,

Delighting in learning about the other person,

And understanding on what resides within their heart.

With simple words that did portray.

With every sentence that you would say,

The moments we've had, and those that may,

Where we would have our way.

Home, my dear, is with you and all things that matter to us.

Regardless of what was, what is, or what could be,

Whether through prosperity or adversity,

Mutual agreement or conflict,

Home, is where you and I can find some measure of peace,

In a world beset by conflict, struggle, and strife.

Winter comes, the coldest season rises,

The blizzard may attempt dissuade us,

And the cold may make the times dark and dismal.

But such cold days are better spent,

When you are by my side...
