You Had Me At Hello

If I were a Goddess then he would be my God

Hello how are you doing my name is...

His voice echoed through my entire being

It was like an impetuous waterfall whose waves gave my life value and meaning

His voice sent chills through my skin when I heard him speak

It was as if for one minute earth itself stood still when he stood before me

I envisoned him as my King from his head to his feet

All that mattered was him and I

If I were a Goddess then he would be my God

No this wasn't just any guy but an infallible version of what I longed for

Hs worth and value penetrated into me as they pierced through my eyes and purposely landed deep into my soul

As his worth fortold a story that had yet to be told

A robust presentation of the reason I was constantly waiting

I was afraid of love so I wanted to walk away and just go

But he took my hand and kissed it

Him this impetuous being told me he wasn't like the rest

So my mind body and soul refused to walk away

Yes my mind body and soul told the other part of me no

All it took was hello how are you doing my name is...

I knew right then and there that he was the one

Yes these words which would determine if love was true

When he took my hand he could understand and feel my pain

Promising to never let me be hurt and mistreated by love again he held me

Held me like his life depended on it

He held me as the tears formed into my eyes

He held me so that this wouldn't be his last and final time

So I write my King if ever you wanted to know

I knew you were the one since day one

Yes it was you

It was You who Had Me At Hello...
