You Don't Know What You're Proud Of
A Secret Wish
You say you're proud
but of what?
the things you say
and do, suggest you're not;
and only want to change
every choice I make.
So in this pride
that you take,
may I ask,
what you gain?
I challenge you to take away,
children are not clones
with parts to play.
