You'd Better Watch Out

Christmas Is Not For The Faint Of Heart

***

RMS tried to warn you

but you didn't take heed

That Santa's story was skewed

and he's sooner see you bleed

So, every year he returns

to check the names off his list

For those unconcerned

that nobody will miss

He lurks in the alleys

in dark hallways and stairs

For those without families

or loved ones who care

Snatching them for a snack

munching down to the bone

You can hear his lips smack

as his victim all moan

Adding them to his army

the lifeless elves, the undead

Threaded veins, all wormy

with maggots in their heads

And the beasts you call reindeer

are ravaged and scarred

Connected with head-gear

to cover where they've been marred

And they hunt you like hound dogs

following the scent of fresh cookies

Traipsing over the logs

and the fires in your fireplace

Waiting for the naughty

who've crept out of their beds

A gift for the illuminati

who prefer little legs

And they will whisk you away

as you beg for your life

Merry Christmas to all

and to all, a good night

YES! I love it, Kelli! Brilliant writing and perfectly dark and humorous! You nailed it with this one and took it up a creative yet sinister notch. I think I will stay home this Christmas season lol
