You Arribed

A love that awakened in silence

By Dianelys TamayoPublished 21 days ago 1 min read

You arrived.

Not on a day I planned,

yet destiny placed you before me—

shaped by the wind, the sea,

the sun, and the restless sand.

You carried a heart stripped naked,

a soul exhausted from wandering.

And I saw you without seeing you,

I loved you without daring to love you.

You became mine in the hidden rooms

of my silence—

in dreams that refused to let go,

in the deep, private chambers

of a being that never learned

how to forget.

I didn’t know that day was written

long before we breathed:

our first collision,

the quiet merging

of your existence

with the marrow of my soul.

I learned love in fragments—

in the warmth of your arms,

the secrets you never spoke,

the sweetness that trembled

on the edge of your smile.

And I gave you what I never gave anyone:

my essence—

the part of me I guarded for a lifetime,

the saint and the wild beast,

the prayer and the sin,

the fire and the surrender.

No one knows this part of me—

not even you.

Yet somehow,

it has always belonged to you.

You are my beginning and my ending,

the beautiful chaos that unmade my world

only to rebuild it

with your touch.

You are hidden fire;

I, the storm that refuses to be seen.

You are the joy I thought the world stole,

and I—

I am the love you believed

could never be real.

And with that love—

I will hold you,

worship you,

survive you,

and love you

always

and forever.
