You are not your own

You are not made for yourself

You were made from tears

You were made from sweat

You were made from the blood

You were made from the heart

You were designed for a purpose

You were created for a reason

And every inch

Every part

Every member of you

Was builted for a reason

For you are the hope

You are the vision

You are the dream of many

Many who were denied

Many who were put down

Many who fought hard

Many who fought long

You were their hope

You were their ambition

You were their goal

So don't think lightly of who you are

Don't think lightly of who you are

Son be strong and capable

Daughter be strong and able

For you are the very dreams of your ancestors
