A mere figure of speech,
You are real and raw,
Beyond my grasp and reach.
Your beauty leaves me in awe,
Your kindness has no compare,
Complex and deep,
Beyond words, beyond compare.
No simile can do justice,
No verse can capture whole,
You remain a mystery,
To my breath and soul.
A puzzle yet to solve,
A truth hard to define,
You're more than poetry,
You are not a metaphor, you are sublime.
