You are invisible like dark matter
Except that the latter may not exist
I wondered if you were only chatter
But then remembered your realness checklist
You must be as beautiful as before
When the sunshine and the moonlight were one
When to see you was all I could ask for
Awaiting your arrival like a gun
Your killer smile and laugh pulled me each time
Your loving skin lending much to my love
How can I ever forget my chest’s mime
Along with the enduring mourning dove
It seems my first tattoo will be of you
A few famished flowers blooming in blue
