YOU AND I

YOU AND I

You were the deity to lift my blissfulness,

And showed me how heavenly the life is.

You never asked me or said, “I LOVE YOU”,

And it’s true that I couldn’t quit loving you.

I don’t know what pleaded me to like everything about you,

But couldn’t plead you to like anything about me.

I don’t know how I came to love you,

But couldn’t afford losing you.

You are the only one I loved awfully,

And wanted you to love me soulfully.

But I don’t presume myself as a good admirer,

Cause I am waning down to make it forever.

I really don’t know what you feel about me,

But you mean everything to me.

I don’t understand why I am so much into you,

But I am impotent to make you feel how much I love you.

I may have many flaws and weaknesses,

But you can help me work on it with kindness.

I don’t have many expectations from you,

Cause I know you will never fail to make me proud of you.

You are my home where I feel secure,

I will always defend it from love that is pure.

I am not sure whether you feel the same,

But my love is everything I want to proclaim.
