You and I

Fate

By ChibiPublished 3 years ago 1 min read

Fate, oh fickle mistress divine

Her plans beyond our mortal design

She weaves a tapestry so fine

Guiding our lives, each and every line

From birth to death, she holds the key

To all our joys and our misery

We may struggle and try to flee

But she will always hold the decree

Some say fate is predetermined

A path we cannot ever bend

But others claim we can ascend

And shape our destiny until the end

Whatever the truth, Fate will remain

The force that governs our life's refrain

So we can but hope and pray in vain

And trust that she will lead us to gain
