You, Across the Room

Had it been an encounter of fate?

By Byul ~Published 4 years ago Updated 4 years ago 1 min read

~for the best experience, listen to this song while reading. Thank you! https://youtu.be/kIFdXbvjgCc ~

You across the room,

I cannot say,

But when you, across the room,

comes walking my way,

My heart doth sway..

We catch a glimpse,

And then, we turn away,

I long for you ,

But do you feel the same?

-I wish I knew..,

My shyness to blame,

Could I be the one,

Who shares your name?

You across the room,

You hide your intent,

I see it in your eyes,

Feelings to lent,

I see how you look at mine,

Can I call this fate,

Or rather, could I call you mine?

Matted black hair, and eyes of gold

I can imagine us,

Turning gray and old,

A gentle caress,

In my arms, you I hold,

For if it’s you,

I’d stay til our last enfold..,

Golden haze,

And auburn skies,

Infatuated, enamored,

they’re all alike,

But true love is when, your heart spikes

your destiny, strung together,

And your love,

That which withstands forever,

Proves so true,

Like his and mine,

So could you make,

My wish come to?

…What more can I say?

I love you..

Thank you for reading. I haven’t written a poem in quite a while so I hope it is pleasing enough! I recommend listening to slowed classical music for an even better read. Thank you once again!

Byul ~

Hello! I’ve loved writing for a long time, though it’s been a while since I started back up on it. I enjoy light and fluffy romance, and enjoy my stories served with some slowed classical music on the side. I hope you enjoy my stories!🎉
